Harrisburg Hunters' and Anglers' Association

2007 Recap - The Walt Wise match was held on September 15th & 16th and again was a big success. There were 123 registered shooters, many of which shot all four relays. We had some new woman shooters but only one junior. Our goal for next year is to get more junior shooters; someone needs to carry on the tradition of this great and popular match. The weather was beautiful; we never did get the showers predicted for Saturday morning. We were also very fortunate to have many volunteers who showed up to help run the line and also work in the stat house; it’s great to have such a response to requests for help. A big thanks goes out to all who were able to help and to the many shooters who return year after year and enjoy the great sport of pistol shooting. It’s wonderful to see the campers and tents scattered around the grounds.
