Big Fish Contest

The 2012 Big Fish Contest is ongoing until the end of December.  The contest is open to all Pennsylvania residents.  Entries must be taken in Pennsylvania waters open to unrestricted public fishing and according to all rules and regulations of the state.  Winners are determined by length, with weight used as a tie breaker.  If you do not want to harvest your fish, there is a 'catch and release' entry.  There will no catch and release entries accepted for Flathead Catfish.  You must provide a picture of you and your fish along with the completed form.

The John Bistline Memorial Trophy is for the club member catching the largest Trout on even years, or the largest Bass on odd years.  The Sheesley Lake Bass Trophy is awarded to the club member catching the largest bass in the club's lake.

The Patriot-News sponsors the Sunfish and Bullhead Catfish categories, open to all youth anglers under age 12.
