Intermediate Handgun Skills Course

This course is a prerequisite for more advanced classes offered at HH&A.   Students will review basic fundamentals and experience more intense hands-on handgun training. This class will be limited in size to 10 students per class and students must have previously completed the HH&A Basic Handgun Safety class. Successful completion of the HH&A Basic Handgun Safety Course will be verified upon your completion of your registration request.

This Course Requires:

  • Successful completion of the HH&A Basic Handgun Safety Course
  • Students are required to have a center fire handgun (.22LR rim fire handguns are not acceptable); semi-automatics must be a .380/9mm caliber or larger and revolvers must be a double action only .38 caliber or larger.
  • Students must also have two magazines or speed loaders, inert (aka “dummy”) ammunition, their own eye and ear protection and provide their own ammunition (100 rounds).

Course Preparation / Information:

  • This class is a one-day class. 
  • Class starts promptly at 8AM, students are asked to arrive by 7:45AM.  
  • There is absolutely NO ammunition permitted in the classroom.  Leave all live ammunition in your locked vehicle. 
  • Instruction will be held in the clubhouse and the range portion will be held at the indoor pistol range.
  • A reminder email will be sent one week prior to the session date, please make sure to check junk mail and spam folders.  The email will come from Eventbrite. 
  • The course is $50.00, we accept cash or check only, no credit cards. Payment is due the day of class.
