Blackpowder Range

Step into the traditions of historical marksmanship at HHA's Black Powder Range, home to the Beaver Creek Muzzleloaders.

Our dedicated black powder facilities offer enthusiasts a place to enjoy muzzleloading firearms, practice traditional shooting skills, and participate in organized events that celebrate the history of the shooting sports.

Range Features

The Black Powder Range features a covered firing line with targets at 25, 50, and 100 yards, along with silhouette shooting opportunities. The facility accommodates approved muzzleloading firearms, including traditional and modern muzzleloaders, in accordance with posted regulations.

Black Powder Woods Walk

One of the highlights of HHA's black powder program is the Woods Walk, a 10-target course situated within the club's wooded grounds.

Available during scheduled events, the Woods Walk offers participants an engaging alternative to traditional stationary target shooting. Shooters move through the course and test their marksmanship while enjoying the outdoor setting.

The Beaver Creek Muzzleloaders promote interest in black powder shooting through organized matches, educational opportunities, and a shared appreciation for the traditions of muzzleloading.
