About Sheesley Lake
Sheesley Lake is a five-acre lake located near the center of the HHA grounds. Fishing is available from the shoreline and docks, making it an inviting setting for young anglers and their families.
The lake is home to bluegill, sunfish, bass, and catfish. Catch and release is recommended to help preserve the fish population for future anglers.
Sheesley Lake was completed in 1949 and is named in honor of Earl Sheesley, a former member of the HHA Board of Directors who played an important role in its creation.
Before fishing, families should review the
Sheesley Lake fishing rules.
