
Intermediate Handgun Skills Course
This course is a prerequisite for advanced classes offered at HH&A.
Students will review basic fundamentals and experience more intense hands-on handgun training. This class will be limited in size to 12 students per class and students must have previously completed the HH&A NRA Basic Handgun Safety class within the past 2 years. Successful completion of the HH&A NRA Basic Handgun Safety Course will be verified upon the completion of your registration request.
The May 21st class is currently full. We will be offering a second class on September 24, 2022. This additional class will be tentative based on the number of enrollees.
This Course Requires:

Successful completion of the HH&A Basic Handgun Safety Course

Students are required to have a centerfire handgun (.22LR rimfire handguns are not acceptable); semi-automatics must be a .380/9mm caliber or larger and revolvers must be a double action only .38 caliber or larger. Students need to bring a firearm that they are familiar with and have shot before.

Students must have:

Semi-Auto shooters- 2 magazines and a magazine loader (i.e. Uplula)

Revolver shooters need a speed loader (these are revolver specific)

All students should bring inert (aka “dummy”) ammunition and

Eye and ear protection

Students must provide their own firearm specific ammunition (200 rounds)
Course Preparation / Information:

This class is a one-day class.

Class starts promptly at 8 a.m., students are asked to arrive by 7:45 a.m.

There is absolutely NO ammunition permitted in the classroom. Leave all live ammunition in your locked vehicle.

Instruction will be held in the clubhouse and the range portion will be held at the indoor pistol range.

The course is $65.00, we accept cash or check only, no credit cards. Payment is due the day of class.
