Junior Rifle is tentatively scheduled to start Thursday, January 8th, 2025, and is open to all youth 11 to 18 years old. Please contact John or Barry to verify official start date of the program. This program is open to the public – you do not need to be a club member to participate. The club provides rifles, ammo, and learning materials free of charge and consists of classroom and range time each week.

Please bring your own eye and ear protection (if you wear prescription glasses, they are adequate). The course will run for a minimum of 10 weeks, every Thursday night, beginning at 6:30 pm for new students. To register, please call John Hoffer at 717-652-7659. Class size is limited, so please register early. Walk-ons are possible, but not guaranteed.

Parent or Guardian must accompany student for the first night to sign a club waiver form. A student will not be permitted to shoot until a waiver is signed. Any shooter still within the age limit that has participated in previous years is welcome to come out and shoot. We will typically have two relays for return shooters, one beginning at 5:30 pm and one beginning at 6:30 pm.

Return shooters do not need to pre-register, just show up at least 15 minutes before a relay and be ready to shoot. When you arrive at the club, come to the range so we know you are there.
