Match starts at 7:00 PM
Relays will run continuously until around 9:30 PM
ELIGIBILITY: Open to the public. No prior competition experience required, but you must be able to handle a firearm safely.
ENTRY FEE: Cost is $ 5.00 per relay. Shoot as many relays as you like.
COURSE OF FIRE: Four plate racks with six 6” round non-metallic plates will be set up at 7 yards downrange. Four shooters at a time will be called to the firing line. Each shooter will shoot a relay consisting of 4 strings with 6 plates per string. Shooting will be done standing without support from a fixed position on the firing line.
GUN: Any rimfire handgun (semi-auto or revolver) may be used. Maxload will be 6 rounds. Both Iron Sights and Red Dot Sights are allowed. There will be 4 gun classes: semi-auto stock, semi-auto with red dot, revolver stock, and revolver with red dot.
AMMUNITION: Any safe 22LR ammo may be used. No magnums are allowed. Standard velocity is recommended. Bring plenty of ammo and have some fun! Maximum round count is 24 rounds per relay.
AWARDS: No awards will be given; we will just be shooting for fun.
SAFETY: A mandatory safety briefing will be given prior to start of the match. You must attend this briefing, no exceptions. All firearms must be kept unloaded, and bagged until called to the firing line by the Match Director. Shooters must follow all NRA safe gun handling rules, and obey all instruction and range commands issued by the Match Director. Safety is paramount and any violations may result in disqualification.
